Ugandan Londoner Mysie Reassures Us Of Her Fiery, Persuasive Quality In New Single 'Bones'
Starring with incredibly indomitable energy, London-based Ugandan singer Mysie grounds “Bones is about going within, and what your gut has to offer.” Packaged in a lo-fi video, she strolls around the football and basketball fields delivering confident and authoritative vocals.
The song is a bass-heavy production, mixed by Gold Spectacles, mastered by Kevin Tuffy. Ardent prime beats, with a touch of simplicity, accompany Mysie's work of art that follows her 2019 debut EP ‘Chapter 11’ and her latest single ‘Gift’.
'Bones' can get you crashing those small low spirits pellets as you courageously sing in front of your thirteen-year-old old son, bearing all the feel-good vigour on a Friday morning school-day.
Born in London to Ugandan parents as Lizbet Sempa, Mysie is also known as the granddaughter of a renowned Ugandan jazz musician Israel Magembe, the family flow of class is bound to even scale greater heights with the mentorship of Grammy award-winning producer & songwriter Fraser T. Smith[Stormzy, Dave, Adele].
