Daily Paper x Beats collaboration features British-Ugandan rapper Unknown T
On Thursday May 26 2022, Beats by Dre (Beats) and Daily Paper launched their first collaboration of special-edition Beats Studio Buds featuring Ugandan-British rapper Unknown T.
The Studio Buds compliments the Daily Paper SS22 collection which features aesthetic influences from New York City’s 80s and 90s hip-hop and graffiti scene.
"Music is one of the most important brand pillars for us as it brings our community together,” said Abderrahmane Trabsini, Co-Founder and Design Director of Daily Paper.
Given hip-hop influences that inspired the collection, the partnership with budding rapper Unknown T is creatively appropriate. The campaign film documents and follows the rapper's genesis as an artist where he scribbles down his first lyrics to his musical journey present day where he records in a studio prior to getting ready for a big show.
