Amarachi Nwosu's Feature Film 'The Ones Who Keep Walking' Features East African Creative Vanguard's

Over the weekend, Nigerian filmmaker and founder of Melanin Unscripted, Amarachi Nwosu, released her first feature length film titled The Ones Who Keep Walking. It is a first-of-its-kind feature length documentary that offers an in-depth look into the African creative renaissance taking place across the worlds of fashion, art, music, dance, and photography. It follows over 20 creatives, young and old, from across the African and it’s diaspora. 

Nairobi arts and film collectove, Urban Pitchaz

Some of the East African voices heard in the film include: Nairobi visual arts collective, Urban Pitchaz; Kampala based DJ Turkana; Rakeb Sile, the founder of Ethiopia’s first white-cube gallery space for modern and contemporary art, Addis Art; and Gouled Ahmed, a visual artist that approaches afro-futurism from a Somali and Ethiopian cultural lens.
