Jinku's 'Little Wing' Is A Bittersweet Tale Of Love and Conflict

Jinku partners with Geraldine Hepp on his latest offering, 'Little Wing'. The latter's folk alter ego, Sera.fina & The Paper Dolls, tells the tumultuous story of the internal conflict felt when having to choose between love and something else.

An arresting guitar riff immediately sucks you into the songs storyline. Sera.fina's feathery yet sombre vocals drift through the track, and are carried by the tender guitar and delicate piano chords as she resignedly sighs, "I close my eyes/And you are gone." Her emotions build as the song moves into the hook. Jinku's jagged, electronica-leaning production mirrors the turmoil she is feeling through broken strings and morphing basslines. You can feel her heart splintering as she fails to find peaceful resolution: "What you sayin'/Don't belong to me/Keep your words in your pocket/I don't want to be free."

'Little Wing' adds on to the string of quality releases coming out EA Wave's camp. Stream the single here.
