Janice Iche Is On Her Way Back After A Much Needed Hiatus, And Doing Better

The dynamite artist and activist has been up to a lot since her last drop "So Tired" late last year, and the proof is in the music. As a native from the Kenyan Coast, she's now more elemental to her roots by adding coastal drums and infamous swahili rhythms (and wisdom) in her two newly released tracks "Siku Mpya" and "Maajabu ya Musa"

Due to varying reasons, she's made it clear that she's now producing her own music while also perfecting the art of mixing them. It’s definitely not been easy, but I'm glad she's gotten the courage to make those decisions and journey on with the salvation that only music can give. Janice’s music is usually very personal and moving, and this time around there’s an added element of a fresh, liberated, upbeat sensation. Only she can add her authentic influences into her art in the way that she does. This is not the beginning of her journey, but a continued voyage through herself and beyond.

Janice is a true artisté and I'm excited for this new chapter of her life and her art, to which I’m thrilled to indulge myself in more!

Make sure to support her by listening and sharing her music from SoundCloud, Bandcamp and more, as well as following her social media to keep up with the surprises.
