Allow Yourself To Be Enchanted By Tetu Shani's 'Live at Kwetu' EP

Multi-dimensional Kenyan artist Tetu Shani is delivers yet another gem with his latest offering, Live at Kwetu. One to push boundaries, Tetu’s Live at Kwetu EP offers listeners an opportunity to experience the essence of his intimate live performances digitally.

Recorded as the last concert at Kwetu Space, a vibrant events space once situated in Jamhuri, Nairobi, Live at Kwetu features some of Tetu’s past releases including a beautiful delivery of his moving ‘Saidia Mimi’. During the original release of the song Tetu said: “Two years ago, after I played Koroga Festival, I wasn't able to make rent. As a result, my water was cut off for 10 days without prior notice. The only water left was the water in the toilet cistern and that's what me, my wife and son used. That's when I wrote Saidia Mimi”.

I highly recommend tapping into this project and allowing yourself to be transported back to a simpler, happier time when we could be immersed in the magic of live music. You can stream Live at Kwetu here.
