Jovie Jovv And Bey T Release Some Heat For The Culture

The new school leaders in Kenyan Hip Hop released their much anticipated collaboration brought forward by a music video and they did not disappoint.

‘Pop’ is the name of the jam, and that’s exactly what they did. There’s a lot of cockiness to it. They know they’re taking over the game, popping off, taking no chances and letting you know they know that you know. Both Jovie and Bey T deliver  bars and sneaky phrases that might have you rewinding the video to catch them, and interpret as you’d like.

The track was produced by ORIEDO40 and is sure to be a club banger in no time. In less than a week it's already close to 50k views. The visuals were directed by none other than Ivan Odie of Callivan Creatives, who also works on branding and talent management in Nairobi, Kenya.

More than anything, this was a collaboration we knew we needed. It’s come through at the right time, right place and with the appropriate delivery. The beat is heavy and their flows mix well together. And the video is definitely the cherry on top. I can’t wait to hear this at the club, in matatus, and live in concert.
