KAMAU Rocked Nairobi at Thrift Social's Bright and Bold Colour-blocking Edition

Brooklyn-based singer, rapper, producer and all-round creative KAMAU gave a transcendental performance at this years first installation of the Thrift Social in Nairobi on Sunday, March 17th. The event was curated by 2manysiblings and sponsored by Ciroc Kenya, and Azzure Hotel Nairobi. Held at The Alchemist bar, one of Nairobi's premier event spaces, this show was KAMAU's first performance in Africa.

Nairobi is a hotbed of fashion and culture, where the traditional meets modern and urban style. At the centre of this style is brother and sister duo Velma Rossa and Papa Petit. The pair, who are the faces behind 2manysiblings, curate Thrift Social, a style, music and art event series.

Thrift Social was launched in 2015 as a platform to promote creativity and the exploration of art, music and fashion while providing inspiration for innovators in the Nairobi creative industry. Through this series, 2manysiblings are creating a much needed space for contemporary African narratives to be told.

As per usual, this edition of the Thrift Social did not disappoint.
