If you haven’t heard about Kali then you’re in for a real treat. This young Kenyan artist is a breath of fresh air in the music scene. KALI has a new EP out named Different Definitions of Love part 2. On this EP, she breaks down the various situations that come with romantic relationships.

Listening to Different Definitions of Love: Part 2 (DDLP2)  is like finally getting off work on a Friday afternoon. DDLP.2   is the second part of KALI’s previous EP Different Definitions of Love, pt.1 which was released on October 11th, 2019. The EP starts with a jazzy r&b vibe as KALI harmonically sings over her interlude “Different Definitions of Love”. The EP changes tempo as KALI gets more intimate on her next song “ A Piece of Your Heaven”. The project continues to pick up the pace on, “Stay Tonight” as she explains a toxic relationship she had with a past lover. KALI talk’s about a relationship where she knows her partner is being unfaithful but just wants to feel wanted for one last night. KALI follows on with an upbeat song about a relationship that went her way! She glorifies her lover who she calls the One on her song “He’s The One”. The EP concludes with “Trophy Wife x Deserve Me” a self-worth anthem. “Ready” closes part 2 leaving us with an upbeat feeling.

KALI, who’s 'Purple' from Different Definitions of Love Part: 1,  got nominated for a Sondeka award in the category of 'Experimental Music'. is starting to take not just the nation but the world by storm with her song “Attention” which was trending in Canada and Australia hitting top charts on apple music. Similarly, "Jungle fever" trending in South Africa on apple music and other streaming platforms. Kali has just begun to sail on this musical ship with hopes of touching the souls of young lovers.
